With her new threads, Supergirl will be fighting for the fate of the entire DC TV Multiverse this coming season in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which will join the heroes of the Arrowverse together they face the threat that endangers all of existence. Finally, while the cape does not appear to be changed from its earlier incarnation, it now connects to the suit through two brackets like Superman's Arrowverse costume rather than join together at the hem of the collar as they had for the first four seasons. The belt is more metallic than its predecessor while the sleeves move up further on the backs of both hands. The suit itself has more prominent lines dividing it into sections, with textured fabric instead of the relatively smooth original Arrowverse costume.
